SUBJECT: PARK FACILITIES - MARTIN ROAD AREA
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following: -
1. That Report CS -52 -86 be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
Staff have been successful in obtaining approximately four (4) acres of flood plain
lands to the west of the Base Line Community Centre for a neighborhood park from Mr.
Halminen of Kiddicorp.
A meeting will be scheduled with the Base Line Community Centre Board this month
(September) to co- ordinate the site plan for the new park.
The development of this park is scheduled for this Fall.
