BY-LAW NO. 2012-055
being a By-law to authorize the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding
between Smooth Run Developments and Brookfield Homes (Ontario) Limited
and the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
WHEREAS Council on July 3, 2012, recommended approval of Official Plan
Amendment No. 86 to the Clarington Official Plan;
AND WHEREAS at their meeting held on July 3, 2012, Council of the Municipality of
Clarington approved Draft Approved Plans of Subdivision S-C-2005-003, and S-C-2005-
004 and Zoning By-law Amendments ZBA 2005-042 and ZBA 2005-043 as they apply
to certain lands owned by Smooth Run Developments and Brookfield Homes (Ontario)
Limited, respectively;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington and seal with the Corporation seal,
the Memorandum of Understanding between Smooth Run Developments and
Brookfield Homes (Ontario) Limited and the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington.
