SUBJECT: PERMIT, LIGHT AND TOURNAMENT FEES
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to Council the following:
1. That Report CS -29 -86 be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
At the General Purpose and Administration meeting of May 5, 1986 "report CS -26 -86 was
referred back to staff for discussion with the user group who hosted the meeting of
April 23 and that written confirmation be obtained from that user group."
Again as per CS -26 -86 a meeting of said user was conducted by staff and Councillor
Stapleton.
Attached please find a letter of "confirmation" that the user groups are satisfied
with the new revised rates.

We the undersigned representing our various baseball organizations
met with Councillor Frank Stapleton, Director of Community Services
Jan Devantier and Programmer Joe Kennett Wednesday, April 23rd and
mutually agreed on the following:
- Permit fees for the 1986 season will be $3.00 per use.
- Tournament fees will be $25.00 for the first day per diamond and
$5.00 per day for subsequent days per diamond.
- In addition to the above a fee of $15.00 per day will be charged
for lights. This rate will be charged to the group using the
lights for the majority of time that night.
