LLCB and your Hall Board - Workshop

RECOMMENDATIONS:
By -Law #
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following: -
1. That Report CS -02 -86 be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
At the September 18, 1985 Grants meeting at the Newcastle Village Hall a significant
number of Hall Boards expressed an interest in a workshop to better acquaint
organizations with their responsibilities and rights under the Special Occasions
Permits of the LLCBO.
In response to the above the NCSPB and the Community Services Department is
sponsoring a workshop on this issue at the Base Line Community Centre February 12,
1986.
All Hall Boards and Service Clubs with halls have been invited to this workshop.
It is the intention of the NCSPB that other workshops will be planned in the future to
address issues of concern to leisure groups in our community.
