SUB.JECT: BUS TOUR -- SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1987
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to the Newcastle Community Services Advisory Board:
1. That Report # CS -33 -87 be received for information.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
As requested a bus tour of recreational facilities in the town of Newcastle has been
scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 1987. The bus will leave the Newcastle Fitness
Centre at 8:00 a.m. sharp and return to the same location by 4 :00 p.m.
On the tour's agenda attached, please note that in order to cover all locations there
is a very tight time schedule to meet. As such, the tour is intended to serve
primarily as an orientation, therefore, a detailed "walk through" at each site will
not be possible.
The Mayor and Members of council will also be invited to attend this tour. Members of
this Board wishing to take part are asked to inform Jane Lunn at 623 -3392 by October
9th, 1987 in order that appropriate bus and lunch reservations may be arranged.
