THE ORONO ARENA COMMUNITY CENTER BOARD
March 12, 2012

CALL TO ORDER: by chair at 7: 28 pm
Moved by Gord Lowery seconded by Laverne Boyd that: we accept
the agenda as presented.
Passed
Local Councilor Wendy Partner assumed the chair for the purposes
of holding an election for Chair. Elaine Dillion was unanimously
elected chair.
Elaine then assumed the chair.
The minutes from the last meeting were read:
Moved by John Witheridge seconded by Gord Lowery that: minutes
be accepted.
Passed
FINANCIAL REPORT
The O.A.A.A. has an equity of $ 122 049.47 as reported by their
treasurer in the attached report.
On a motion by Lavern Boyd seconded by Willie Woo the financial
report was accepted and filled.
CORRESPONDENCE:
BUSINESS ARISING:
NEW BUSINESS: Jackie Moore has been added to the Board by the
Town but was unable to attend because of a business meeting in
Poland.
Moved by Gord Lowery seconded by Wendy Partner: that Rory
Woods be invited to the next meeting to explain the financial report.
CARRIED
The next order of business is the semi-annual Walk About with the
arena manager. Gord Lowery will alert the Board when it will occur.
FUTURE MEETING: Tue. May 29, 2012
All meetings will commence at 7:00 pm sharp.
