THE ORONO ARENA COMMUNITY CENTER BOARD
October 19, 2011

CALL TO ORDER: by chair at 7: 34pm
Moved by Gord Lowery seconded by Laverne Boyd that: we accept
the agenda as distributed.
Passed
The minutes from the last meeting were read:
Moved by John Witheridge seconded by Gord Lowery that: minutes
be accepted.
Passed
NEW BUSINESS:
The town has replaced the roof on the compressor building Pete
skillfully arranged this to coincide with the upgrade of the
compressors saving a great deal of money.
The arena requires a new exterior door on the west side of the
building and a new electrical panel ( $5 000) Pete is asking the town
for financial support.
The chair, Ray Bester, resigned siting his transfer for job purposes to
the Bruce County.
Motion to accept the resignation with regrets was moved by Gail
McKenzie seconded by Laverne Boyd.
It was suggested by the Board that the following people be
considered for the vacate position on the Board:
Neil Allen
Charlene Perrin
Blain/Joan Moffat
Doug Benedict
Passed
