1. That Report No. CS -27 -88 be received for information.
BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:
As requested a bus tour of recreation facilities in the
Town of Newcastle has been scheduled for Saturday, October
22, 1988. The bus will depart from the Newcastle Fitness
Centre at 8:00 a.m. and return to the same location
approximately 3:30 p.m.

The tour, as outlined on the attached sheet, will reflect
indoor facilities which have capital projects set up for this
year. Specific requests from the N.C.S.A.B. members have
also been included. Please note that due to the time frame
and requested site locations a detailed "walk through"
will not be available at each location.
The Mayor and Members of Council will also be invited to
attend this tour. Members of this Board wishing to take part
are asked to inform John Milton at our October 5th meeting
in order that appropriate bus reservations may be arranged.
