N.C.S.A.B. BUS TOUR -- SATURDAY, JUNE 18, 1988
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended to the Newcastle Community
Services Advisory Board:
1. That report no. CS -09 -88 be received for information.
BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:
As requested a bus tour of recreational facilities in the Town
of Newcastle has been scheduled.for Saturday, June 18, 1988.
The bus will leave the Newcastle Fitness Centre at 8:00 a.m, and
return to the same location by approximately 3:00 p.m.
The tour, as outlined on the attached sheet, will emphasize
outdoor park facilities which have capital projects set up for
this year. Specific requests from NCSAB members have also been
included. Please note that the tour.is intended to serve
primarily as an orientation and in order to meet time schedules a
detailed "walk through" at each site will not be possible.

The Mayor and Members of Council will also be invited to attend
this tour. Members of this Board wishing to take part are asked
to inform Jane Lunn at 623 -3392 by May 20th in order that
appropriate bus and lunch reservations may be arranged.
