RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the N.C.S.A.B. receive this report for
information and direction.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
The May 14th Grants Workshop was well attended by approximately sixty people
representing thirty groups. The speakers did an excellent job and perhaps a letter of
thank you could be sent to'each session leader.
To follow -up on the tentative "Fundraising" Workshop to be held in October,
information is attached on two potential speakers. Mr. Ken Wyman is still available
for Wednesday, October 14, 1987. Mr. Greg Burns, however, is no longer available for
this date but he would be pleased to lead a workshop the week of October 5, 1987.
Because these two individuals are in demand, one speaker should be confirmed as
quickly as possible including a date and location for the workshop.

Finally, the fundraising workshop would possibly be eligible for a Wintario grant
through the Leadership Development Program. It is advisable that the N.C.S.A.B.
consider filling out a Wintario application form and phoning Garry Adams for further
information.
