Dear Head of Council Winters:
We have started a unique advertising service called Benchmark Advertising,
which we believe your town will be interested in.
With your permission, at no cost to you, we propose to install benches in
various locations around Newcastle. We feel they will be a welcome comfort for
pedestrians and transit riders, senior citizens in particular. In return, we
seek the authority to sell advertising on the benches to local businesses.
The benches we propose to install are made of high - quality pressure -
treated wood and white concrete. They are pleasing to the eye, and more
comfortable to sit on than those made completely of cement which are found in
many areas. They have also been engineered so that they can be removed without
a trace, if desired.
The advertising will be of a tasteful nature and situated on the back -rest
of the benches. We will ensure that the benches and advertisements are well
maintained, at our cost.
We request a meeting with you at your earliest convenience to discuss this
proposal further.
Yours sincerely,
BENCHMARK ADVERTISING
David B. Meadows
