N.C.S.A.B. BUS TOUR -- SATURDAY, JUNE 18, 1988
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose &
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: -
1. That report no. CS -08 -88 be received for information.
BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:
The Mayor and Members of Council are cordially invited to attend
a bus tour of recreational facilities in the Town of Newcastle
with the Newcastle Community Services Advisory Board on
Saturday, June 18, 1988. The bus will leave the Newcastle
Fitness Centre at 8:00 a.m. and return to the same location by
approximately 3:00 P.M.
The tour, as outlined on the attached sheet, will emphasize
outdoor park facilities highlighting areas where capital
projects have been established for this year. In order to cover
all locations within the allotted time schedule the tour is
intended to serve primarily as an orientation. Therefore, a
"walk through" at each site will not be possible.

Members of council wishing to take part in this tour is asked to
contact Maureen Reid by May 20th in order that appropriate bus
and lunch reservations may be arranged.
