It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose &

1.0 BACKGROUND:
1.1 It has been the practice of the Town to promote new facilities
as they are made available to the public through official
openings. This Spring, staff has been approached by Kassinger
Developments, the developer of the Highland Gardens
Subdivision and Highland Park asking that an official opening
ceremony occur and that their Firm be permitted to participate
and support the ceremonies.
2.0 REPORT:
2.1 Highland Park was constructed late in 1989. This park is the
first of the negotiated "turn key" parks provided by the
developer. It features a ball diamond, soccer field, small
