RESOLUTION C- 445 -90
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose &
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following;
1. That Report No. CS -28 -90 be received for information.
1.0 BACKGROUND:
1.1 At its meeting of June 25, 1990 Council received a petition
prepared by Mr. Scott Gordon of 204 Church Street, Newcastle
Village, expressing concerns with respect to the installation
of the skateboard facilities at the Newcastle Village Arena.
1.2 Subsequently, staff have reviewed the concerns and are pleased
to report that an alternate site at the Newcastle Lions Pool
has been prepared and the ramps have been removed from the
arena site to the new location.
2.0 COMMENTS
2.1 Mr. Gordon has been informed of action taken by staff in this
regard.
