Attendance: Gavin, Yvonne, Frank, Heather, Perry, Scott, Shelly, Marg, Diana, Tina,

January Budget:
.Invest in winter flags on the light poles downtown
.Invest in bike racks and repair station
.Invest in banner for farmers markets
HWY Sign:
.Have the hydro removed from the Orono Sign on the 115 (to save on costs), Motioned
Frank, all in favor
Bike Recharging Station:
.Have it located at Library
.Bike racks to be determined
.Marg mentioned that these decisions will be potentially made in the Spring
Farmers Market:
.Check to see if BIA can sponsor event -Marg

.Friday afternoons
.Weekly/ Biweekly 1 st/ 3rd Friday of every month
.Asking the fairground if we can have it there
Santa Claus Parade:
Ted Morrison from Bowmanville will be Santa and will be doing it for free
Buttons to be sold in local shops and at the parade
Posters are out in businesses and on the slideshow at arena
Need more involvement from the BIA and to make floats
.Advertise a donation to the food bank
.Hot chocolate
.Food Bank donations to the parade- Timothy
.Get lawn signs out ASAP
.Snowflakes signs need to go up ASAP
Gazebo:
.New decorations to decorate it- Shelly
It's a Date, "On the House" Magazine:
.Advertise Orono events in if for the year
.Free magazine
.Put event in 2 months in events
Orono Sign
.Received money from Capstone for it
.$8136 total cost
.Short about $1,500
.Pay for the full bill and then will add Capstone money back to the account
Next meeting to talk about closing the OCC fund account and combine with the BIA
account
