occurring in Clarington.

warning signs to look out for.
• The primary targets for these crimes are elderly populations
• Education is the best way to combat fraud; going to your local bank, sharing
information on fraud with peers, and reviewing information on the DRPS
website are good places to start.
During the community roundtable, these were the main issues that were discussed:
• If community members experience non -emergency requests, such as
harassment, eastdivision(a).drps.ca is the best email to get in touch with.
Specific inquiries on partnerships with DRIPS or ways to address racism in
Clarington were not highlighted.
• Inquiries on anti -bias training for school resource officers was made. A follow
up will be conducted and shared with the Council.
• Traffic concerns were shared in specific regions of Clarington. Community
members are encouraged to use "Road Watch" to report aggressive or unsafe
driving: https://www.drps.ca/online-services/online-reporting-and-
registries/driver-complaint-road-watch/
• Community members are invited to share and participate in the DRIPS'
