2. That three certified copies of the following
resolution be forwarded to C.P. Rail:
"THNr the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
does not object to C.P. Rail abandoning arxl
removing the industrial spur crossing Scugog
Street, at grade, provided that there are no
objections from the industries being served
by said rail spur ".
REPORT:
Part of the project for reconstructing Scugog Street
involves rehabilitation of the subject rail spur which
crosses Scugog Street at grade.

We are alvised by C.P. Rail that the spur is now redundant

ride. Also, maintenance costs associated with the crossing
would be real uced .
It is, therefore, recorrnner -led that subject to concurrence of

its concurrence with the removal of the rail spur.
