REPORT NO.: WD -44 -84
SUBJECT: WITZKE DRAINAGE PROBLEM

2. That Council reconsider the recommendations of Report
WD- 25 -84, attached hereto, towards recommending an
approach to the matter of drainage adjacent to the
Witzke property.
REPORT:
When Members of Council last considered this matter, it was
decided that a decision would be withheld until the area in
question had been reviewed on the annual road tour. The
site was visited on the road tour, various features of the
area were pointed out. and some discussion took place. It is
now appropriate to decide how to proceed such that any works
which might be recommended can be scheduled.

REPORT WD -25 -84
REPORT:
Members of Council have on two previous occasions considered
Works Department reports and ;recommendations on this matter.
However, there has been no direction as to which course of
action to pursue. The Witzkds' have again contacted the
Works Department making it desirable to decide whether to
make improvements or not. Accordingly, the attached report
is provided for Council's reconsideration.
In considering the matter, it might be worth members of
Council knowing that during the flooding conditions which
occurred everywhere in the Town on February 14, 1984, no
unusual problems were experienced in the subject area.
Respectfully submitted,
R.G. Dupuis, P. Eng.,
Director of Public Works.
