REPORT NO. WD -53 -84
REPORT:
Through the transaction for the sale of a property on the
west side of Scugog Street, north of Pine Street, in
Burketon, it was found that the building was'encroaching
onto the Scugog Street right -of -way. In order to permit the
sale to proceed, official recognition of the encroachment is
required.
. The location has been reviewed and it was found that the
encroachment has not, nor will it hamper the use of the road
by either vehicles or pedestrians. Thus, it may continue
until the Town requires the full width-of the street for
municipal works or until such time as the building is
demolished or removed.
It is, therefore, recommended that the attached by -law
authorizing the encroachment over Part 3, Plan 1OR1820, be
enacted.
Respectfully submitted,
R. G. Dupuis, P. Eng.,
Director of Public Works.
