RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose &
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:-
1. That Report No. CS-06-91 be received for information.
1.0 BACKGROUND:
1. 1 The Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Inc . formerly
the Ontario Arenas Association has conducted meetings for
recreation facility personnel over the last forty years
throughout the Province. On Wednesday, February 13, 1991 the
Town of Newcastle will be hosting this educational meeting at
the Bowmanville Recreation Complex. The seminar will deal
with Air Quality in Recreation Buildings . Attachment #1 is
the invitation that has been sent out to the 400
Municipalities in the Province. The expected attendance is
approximately 100 facility personnel and 20 commercial
exhibits .

2.0 INVITATION:
2 . 1 Council may wish to participate in all or in part of the
meeting and are encouraged to do so. Invitations are being
sent to each member of Council under separate cover.
