"�; � , i � � b Res. � By-Law aw # (7/- /Z/ e _ NESTING: GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION DATE: July 22, 19 91 REPORT #: CS-27-91 FILE #: SUB.ECT: SOLINA PARK/ONTARIO HYDRO SERVICE TO SOLINA RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose & Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:- 1. That Report No. CS-27-91 be received; 2 . That Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement with Ontario Hydro for the purpose of providing an easement in Solina Park; 3. That the Solina Hall and Park Boards be advised of Council's decision; and 4. That the $90 . 00 from Ontario Hydro be deposited to the credit of the Park Reserve Account #5001-7-851. 1.0 BACKGROUND: 1. 1 Written correspondence (Attachment 1) has been received from Mr. Jim Wood of Ontario Hydro to advise that it is their intention to relocate their service poles from the north side of Concession Road 6 to the south side at the first pole, east of Solina Road in Solina. . . /2 (�� I ( ! REPORT NO. CS-27-91 - 2 - JULY 22, 1991 This will occur across the frontage of Solina Park. The previous mentioned first pole will be under strain from the overhead wires changing direction to cross Concession Road 6 . Ontario Hydro proposes to stabilize the pole with an anchor cable to be installed one meter inside the Solina Park boundary. 2.0 REPORT: 2 . 1 The Solina Hall Board was advised through their representative Mr. James Kapteyn of the pole relocation and the requested easement for an anchor cable and offered no objection. 2 .2 Ontario Hydro has advised they will pay to the Town $90.00 as part of the agreement once it has been executed. Sale of park properties or rights across park properties are normally credited to the Park Reserve Account. 2 . 3 These proposed changes will upgrade the hydro service level currently supplied to the local residents and is in the best interest of the Town, the Park and the Community. L1C 3A6, To Whom It May Concern: Re: Proposed Hydro Support Anchor Solina Park In order to correct the voltage problems to the residents on the 6th Concession, east of Solina Road, Ontario Hydro is planning a minor betterment. Due to a corner in the new line we require a hydro pole support anchor on the Solina Park property ( see attached Schedule "A" sketch. ) I trust this request meets with your approval .
