By-Law # MEETING: THE GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE DATE: FEBRUARY 16, 1987 REPORT #:WD-8-87 FILE #: SUBJECT: ROAD ALLOWANCE DEDICATION - MEARNS AVENUE PART 4, R.P. 10R1718, AS PART OF ROAD ALLOWANCE RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended: 1 . That Report WD-8-87 be received; and, 2. That a by-law be passed by the Town of Newcastle dedicating lands acquired for the future widening of Mearns Avenue, specifically Part 4 of R.P. 1OR1718, as part of the road allowance; and, 3. That Mr. Irwin Hamilton, of Hamilton & Bellefontaine, be so advised. . . . .2 Page 2 Report No. WD-8-87 REPORT: As part of an ongoing process, the Town is dedicating all road widenings as public highway by by-law. The subject lands (Part 4) have been acquired by the Town of Newcastle for road purposes and are located on the east side of Mearns Avenue in Lot 8 Concession 1 , of the former Town of Bowmanville, as shown on the attached plan.
