SUBJECT: REMOVAL OF ONE FOOT RESERVES
PART LOT 25, B.F.C. ,
TOWNSHIP OF CLARKE - HENDRY
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended:
1. That this report be received; and,
2. That Part 3, Plan 10R1793 and Parts 1 & 4, Plan
10R1819, be dedicated as public road allowance subject
to the following:
a) The owner of the abutting lands paying a lot
development charge;
b) The owner of the abutting lands agreeing to,
and paying, all associated legal costs.
3. That a by-law be passed to implement same and
authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute the necessary
documents.

REPORT:
The development agreement for the lands at the northwest
corner of Lakeshore Road and the Road Allowance between
Lots 24 and 25 in the Broken Front Concession of the former
Township of Clarke provided for road widening dedication, as
well as a one foot reserve to provide the Town with control
over the future disposition of the lands abutting the former
two roads. Now, the owner proposes to build on these lands
and requires frontage on the road allowance. There are no
objections to this occuring, and provided the owner
satisfies the stipulated conditions, the one foot reserves
should be lifted. Dedication as road allowance is the most
expedient method of accomplishing this.
