THAT Report PD-257-87 be received; and * 2. THAT Amendment No. 5 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan, attached hereto as Attachment No. 1, be approved in accordance with Resolution #GPA-633-87; and 3. THAT a copy of Council's decision be forwarded to the applicant. BACKGROUND AND COP1MENTS: On July 20, 1987, the General Purpose and Administration Committee resolved (Resolution #GPA-633-87) to approve in principle Amendment No. 5 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan. The purpose of Amendment No. 5 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan is to increase the maximum number of lots permitted in the northwest quadrant of the Hamlet from "26" to "29". The resolution approved by Committee also stated that the amendment was to be forwarded to Council after being considered by Regional Council. ...2 ~(~~ JAS*TTE*jip *Attach. R.R. #1 BOWMANVILLE, Ontario L1C 3K2 REPORT NO.: PD-257-87 Page 2 On September 16, 1987, the Town was advised that Regional Council had considered the subject amendment on September 9, 1987 and had no comments to make. Accordingly, it is recommended that Amendment No. 5 to the Enniskillen Hamlet Development Plan, attached hereto as Attachment No, 1, be approved. Recommended for presentation to the Committee ,% ~- > f` , ~ ~~ F ,~ ~ t~ „ , L wrence Kotseff Chief A i istrative Office r ~~~~ AMENDMENT N0. 5 TO THE HAMLET DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE HAMLET OF ENNISKILLEN PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT The purpose of Amendment No. 5 to the Hamlet Development Plan for the Hamlet of Enniskillen is to increase the maximum number of permitted lots within the northwest quadrant of the Hamlet from "26" to "29". BASIS OF AMENDMENT This amendment to the Hamlet Development Plan for the Hamlet of Enniskillen is based upon an application submitted to the Town of Newcastle to amend the Plan to permit the development of three (3) additional residential lots within the northwest quadrant of the Hamlet, ACTUAL AMENDMENT 1, Schedule "1" to the Hamlet Development Plan for the Hamlet of Enniskillen is hereby amended by changing from "26" to "29" the maximum number of residential lots permitted in the northwest quadrant of the Hamlet as shown on the attached Schedule "X" hereto, 2. Schedule "X" hereto shall form part of this Amendment, IMPLEMENTATION The provisions set forth in the Town of Newcastle Official Plan regarding the implementation of the Plan shall apply in regard to this Amendment.
