(SOPER COURT) PART LOT 9, CONCESSION 1, BOWMANVILLE RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report PD-2g1-87 be received; and 2. THAT the request submitted by Mr. George L. Smith, Solicitor, on behalf of Kiddicorp Investments Ltd. thereby exempting Lots 2 to 12 (inclusive), as shown on Plan 10M-7g~4 from Part Lot Control, be acknowledged; and 3. THAT the attached by-law be approved and forwarded to the Regional Municipality of Durham pursuant to Seetion ~tg, Subsection (7) of the Planning Act; and 4. THAT Mr. George L. Smith be so advised. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: On October 26, 1987, Staff received a request from Mr. Smith, acting on behalf of Kiddicorp Investments Limited for an exemption from Part Lot Control in respect of Lots 2 to 12 (inclusive) as shown on registered Plan 10M-7g4. Staff have reviewed the request and would have no objection to same and the approval of the by-law exempting the subject lands within this plan from Part Lot Control. ...2 REPORT NO.: PD-2g1-87 (~ PAGE 2 In that regard, attached herewith is a by-law which requires approval of Council and the Regional Municipality of Durham which would exempt the subject lands from Section 4g(5) of the Planning Act pursuant to the provisions of Section 49(7) of said Aet. Accordingly and in order to facilitate conveyance of title of the individual semi-detached dwelling units located on these lots, it would appropriate for the Council to approve the necessary exemption from Part Lot Control.
