PART LOT 16, CONCESSION 1, FORMER TWP. OF CLARKE OUR FILE: DEV 87-2 CLERK°S FILE: 60.35.339 RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report PD-296-87 be received; and 2. THAT Staff Report PD-90-87 be lifted from the table and the recommendations therein be approved. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: On April 6, 1987 Committee considered Staff Report PD-90-87 (copy attached) on a rezoning application to recognize an existing dwelling and allow it to be severed from the nursery garden centre. The subject lands are presently zoned "Agricultural Exception (A-3)" by By-law 84-63 and designated "Major Open Space" by the Durham Regional Official Plan. Council Resolution of April 14, 1987 tabled Report PD-90-87 until an investigation had been undertaken relative to the existing uses of the subject property and its compliance with the Property Standards By-law and until all existing uses were brought up to date. ...2 ~(~ REPORT NO.: PD-296-87 PAGE 2 Recent investigations of the site have revealed that it now appears to conform from a maintenance and occupancy standpoint. The recommendations of Report PD-90-87 was that the application for rezoning, submitted by Mr. R. Stewart on behalf of 525312 Ontario Inc., be approved and the attached by-law be forwarded to Council for approval.
