RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-223-87 be received; and
2. THAT the applications for• Hamlet Plan Amendment and r•ezoni ng be referred back to
Staff to complete the circulation pr•ocedur•e.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
On July 2, 1987, the Planning Department received an application for• an amendment to the
Haydon hamlet Development Plan and a rezoning by Mr•. ~Ir•yciuk and Mr•s. Savage. The
applications were circulated jointly to the necessary departments and agencies for•
comment. The proposed Hamlet Plan Amendment would extend the boundaries of the Haydon
Hamlet to include the subject lands, and the rezoning would permit the development of six
(6) residential lots.

Staff ar•e cur•r•ently processing comments r•ecei ved and ar•e awaiting comments
from five (5) agencies and an Engineer's Report from the applicant, in
compliance with Section 9.10 of Amendment No. 22 to the Official Plan of the
for•mer• Townshi p of Dar•1 i ngton. These comments and r•epor•t ar•e r•equi r•ed pr•i or•
to Staff being in a position to make a recommendation in respect of the
application.
Staff have received no comments to date which ar•e in objection to the
application. The comments deal pr•imar•ily with possible conditions at the
Land Division stage.
Staff's recommendation is to r•efer• the applications back to Staff in or•der•
to allow the remaining comments and Engineer's Report to be submitted.
