BY -LAW NUMBER 82- 73
being a By -law to amend By -law No. 76 -25, as amended, of the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
1. Section 11 of By -law 76 -25, as amended, of the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle is hereby further amended by adding thereto
the following "SPECIAL CONDITION 9 ":
"SPECIAL CONDITION 9
9.1 Defined Area
The lands subject to this "SPECIAL CONDITION"
comprises part of Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block 32,
Hanning's Plan of the former Town of Bowmanville,
situated on the north -west corner of the intersection
of Liberty Street and Baseline Road.
9.2 Permitted Signs
In addition to the signs permitted by Section 8 of
this By -law and notwithstanding any other provisions
of this By -law to the contrary, a ground
identification sign having a maximum sign area of 40
square feet, shall be permitted within the "Defined
Area ".
2. This By -law shall come into effect on the final passage
hereof.
BY -LAW read a first time this 25th day of May 1982
BY -LAW read a second time this 25th day of May 1982
BY -LAW read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of
May 1982.
