CORPORA nON OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NUMBER 2003-042
being a by-law to amend Interim Control by-law 2003-01 as it applies to
the lands and premises known as 243 King Street East, Bowmanville
THE COUNCIL OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON hereby enacts as
follows:
1. None of the provisions of section 1 of By-law 2003-01 shall apply to prohibit the
use of land or the erecting, locating or using of buildings or structures on the land
identified as the "Bowmanville Mall Lands" on the map contained in Schedule
"A" attached to and forming part of this By-law for any purpose permitted by By-
law No. 84-63, as amended, on January 5, 2003, with the exception of a drive-thru
facility.
2. For the purposes of this By-Jaw, the term "drive-thru facility" means a building,
structure, or part thereof where anyone or more of beverages, food, goods or
services are offered to the public within a parked or stationary motor vehicle by
way of a service window or in a similar fashion.
By-law read a first and second time this 31st day of March, 2003.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 31st day of March, 2003.
