being a by-law regarding
Polling Subdivisions.
WHEREAS Sec. 58 (6) of the Municipal Act R.S.O.
1960, chapter 249, authorizes Council to make a re—
division of the Polling Subdivisions when the number
of electors in any Subdivision exceeds 450,
AITD WHEREAS the number of electors in the present
Polling Subdivision No. 2 exceeds 450,
NOW THEREFORE- the Council of the Corporation of
the Village of Newcastle enacts as follows:
That the Village of Newcastle shall be divided
into three Polling Subdivisions as shown below:
POLLING SUBDIVISION NO. 1: Comprising all that part of
the Village south of Highway No. 2 and east of Mill
street to the southerly and easterly limits.
POLLING SUBDIVISION NO. 2: Comprising all that part of
the Village south of Highway No. 2 and west of Mill
Street to the Southerly and Westerly limits.
POLLING SUBDIVISION N0. 3: Comprising all that part of
the Village north of Highway No. 2 to the westerly,
northerly and easterly limits.
And that By-law 67-21 is hereby repealed.
PLEAD a FIRST ;e i SECOND and THIRD time and finally passed
