BY-LAW 7,1-5
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 70-7 regarding
Councillors' annual allowance.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Village
of Newcastle ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
An annual allowance of Eight Hundred Dollars ($800.00) shall
be paid to each Member of Council and Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500-00)
be paid to the Reeve, and one third of such amount shall be
deemed to be for expenses incidental to the dischange of his or
her duties as a Member of Council. These amounts to be effective
as of January lst, 1972.
By-Law 70-7 is hereby rescinded.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD time and finally passed
