I, Jean McCullough, Clerk of the Village of Newcastle, hereby
certify that this is a true copy of By-Law 72-8 passed in open
meeting of Council on June 12th, 1972•
THE CORPORATION OF THE VILLAGE OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 72-8
WHEREAS the following Tax Arrears Certificate has been
registered in the Registry Office for the West Riding of
the County of Durham whereby the lands hereinafter described
have become vested in this Municipality, the Corporation of
the Village of Newcastle, namely;
(A) Tax Arrears Certificate dated March 12th, 19719
registered on April 13thq 1971 as Number 48913 on the
following property:
In the Village of Newcastle, in the County of Durham,
being part of the original Lot 28 in the Second Concession
of the Township of Clarke, more particularly described as all
of Lot 11 and part of unnumbered Lot lying south of said
Lot 11, all in Block "All as on the Hanning Plan of said
Village and as described in Instrument N. 25492 for Newcastle,
AND WHEREAS the period of redemption for the said land has
expired;
AND WHEREAS the said Parcel of Land is required for the
purposes of the Municipality for the storing of sand.
THEREFORE be it enacted as a by-law of the Village of Newcastle
that the land herein above-mentioned and described is hereby
declared to be required for the Municipality of the said
Village of Newcastle for the storing of sand.
