BY -LAW No. 72 -12
A by -law to appoint an inspector
to enforce the Trench Excavators'
Protection Act in the Village of
Newcastle.
WHEREAS by the provisions of The Trench Excavatorst Protection Act
R.S.O. 1970, C. 469, S. 4(l), the Council of every municipality
shall, by by -law, appoint one or more inspectors to enforce this
Act in the municipality:
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Village of Newcastle
enacts as follows:
(1) That Mr. R. E. Cleverdon, P. Eng., Director, Construction
Safety Branch, Ministry of Labour of Ontario, and those persons who
are inspectors of the Ministry of Labour under the Public Service
Act are hereby appointed to enforce The Trench Excavators' Protection
Act and regulations thereunder, the said appointments tobe effective
on the day of 1972.
(2) That all previous appointments are hereby cancelled.
Read a first and second time this 10th day of July 1972.
Read a third time and finally passed this day of 1972.
