Meeting was held to discuss 2022 Budget due to Municipality Nov 17 2022
1. Motion by M. Zwart, seconded by H. Corvers
That $3000.00 from fundraising account is allocated to the 100th Anniversary Committee.
"Carried"
2. Motion by J. Calder, seconded by M. Zwart
That Santa Parade Committee is granted permission to place Santa and his sleigh in the patio
area on November 26 2021 from 5pm to 9pm during the Winter Wonderlights event to light
up the hall and parkette for the season. "Carried"
J. Calder let Board know on behalf of Newcastle BIA that old wreaths are available for $25.00 if
anyone is interested.
3. Motion by J. Calder
That Santa Parade Committee is given permission to use stage risers outside to set sleigh on.
Board did not feel the risers should go outside. As there was no seconder motion was not
carried.
4. Motion by H. Corvers, seconded by M. Zwart
That $5000.00 from fundraising account is allocated to purchase of a dishwasher for the main
kitchen. "Carried"
B. Carmichael will investigate purchase.
