Minutes of Meeting — July 21 st 2021, 7:OOpm

Motion to accept minutes from June — tabled due to technical difficulties
Committee Reports:
1. Chair Report — Danielle — we are now in Stage 3. Discussion was had about what
needs to be completed in order to reopen the building to rentals and activities. It
was noted that our washrooms are not actually wheelchair accessible. Danielle
will handle speaking with the Municipality in regards to this. Discussed some
possible options for fundraising.
2. Maintenance Report — Kyle — will check the fire extinguishers. Mentioned that the
work orders still have not been completed. Nothing else to update at this time.
3. Rentals — Joy — several inquiries have been made about booking the hall for
rentals. A list of attendees can be requested by all renters. 50% capacity is
allowed at this time. Does not exceed 1000 people. Discussion was had about
fees for additional clean ing/sanitization for rentals. Motion was made to make the
fee a set $150 for set up and take down due to Covid requirements. Made by
Marlene Raby. Second by Greg. All in favor. Carried

New Business:
1. Reopening Discussion: The municipality sent out an email stating that we are
in Stage 3 and had to obeyed by the government's requirements for opening.
Health inspection has to be completed before reopening. Discussion was had
about what needs to be completed for that to happen. A reopening plan
needs to be made. Some questions were raised, Joy offered to clarify these.
Discussion was had about the garbage collection and options that may be
available to help save some money.
2. Cleaning Day — A checklist will be made that outlines what areas need to be
completed. Discussion was had about the garden needing to be weeded and
cleaned up.
3. Discussion was had about needing a new tech savvy person to handle the
website.
4. Ice Rink — application is due in August. Danielle will handle completing the
application and sending it in.
