HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-46THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF:BOWMANVILLE BY -LAW NUMBER Being a by -law to authorize the conveyance of lands to Lamers- Brothers. WHEREAS by instrument No. N36480 registered on the 26th day of April of 19`68 Oshawa Wood Products Limited did convey unto the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville hereinafter called the "TOWN" Lot 18 according' to Plan 681 on Saunders Avenue in the Town of Bowmanville for public purposes under Section 28 (5) of Planning Act. WHEREAS the Council of the Town is desirous of selling the said parcel of land and for this purpose tendors were called and Lamers Brothers submitted the highest tendor. ., NOW THEREFORE pursuant to Section 33 (9) of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1970 Chapter 349, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville hereby enacts as follows: 1. That lot 18 according to Registered Plan 681 in the 'down of Bowmanville on Saunders Avenue be sold to Ben Lamers and Hank Lamers carrying on business under the name "Lamers Brothers" for the price of $13,000.00. 2. Upon the payment of the said purchase price in full the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to sign a conveyance and impress the Corporate Seal of the Town on a conveyance to Ben Lamers and Hank Lamers and- perform such other acts as may be necessary to ;complete the transaction. READ a first and second time this day of August, 1973. READ a third time and finally passes this day of August, 1973. Mayor
