By -Law No. 72 -38
Being a by -law to authorise repairs to the roof
of the Bowmanville Memorial Arena.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville, deems
it expedient and necessary to effect repairs to the roof of the Bowmanville
Memorial Arena.
NOW THEREFOR the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville
enacts as follows:
1. THAT the roof of the Memorial Arena shall be repaired at an estimated
cost not to exceed $15,000.
2. THAT the final cost of the said work shall be raised by the issue and
sale of Debentures payable in instalments within 10 years.
3. THAT the Treasurer of the Municipality is hereby authorised to make
arrangements and sign any necessary documents to arrange temporary
advances of money to meet the cost of the work pending the completion of
the work and the sale of the Debentures.
By -law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this Second
day of October, 1972.
