HomeMy WebLinkAbout72-15THE CORPORATION OF THE Town of Bowmanville By -Law No. Being a by -law to authorize the entering into an Agreement with Veltri and Son Limited for the construction and mainten- ance of a Pumping Station. WHEREAS Veltri and Son Limited has applied to The Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville for a permit to build a 39 suite apartment building on its lands and premises; AND WHEREAS it is necessary for the sanitary sewer servicing the said lands and premises to be pumped into the existing forcod sewer main of the Town of the Base Line Road; AND WHEREAS Veltri and Son Limited has agreed to construct, maintain and operate the said pumping station and enter into an agreement with the Town for its use and the necessary connections therewith; NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970 Chapter 452, Section 352 (4) The Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville enacts as follows: 1. That the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville do enter into an Agreement with Veltri and Son Limited their successors and /or assignees, for the construction, maintenance and operation of the pumping station and for its use and the necessary connections with the sanitary sewage facilities of the Town of Bowmanville. 2. That the Mayor and the Clerk be and are hereby authorized to enter into such an Agreement in the form set out in Schedule "At' attached hereto and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign such an Agreement and impress the corporation seal of the Town thereon.
