By -Law No. 72 -25
Being a by -law to authorize the entering
into of an Agreement with The Minister of
Transportation and Communications for the
widening and improvement of the intersection
at the Base Line Road and Liberty Street.
WHEREAS the Corporation of''the Town of Bowmanville, hereinafter called the
I'Town" proposes to carry out certain construction work on Duke Street, from the
Base Line Road to Park Street, in the Town of Bowmanville;
AND WHEREAS the Minister of Transportation and Communications, hereinafter
called the "Ministry" has requested the Town to carry out certain widening and
improvements to the intersection of the controlled access highway 401 at Liberty
Street and Base Line Road;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Town enter into an Agreement with the Ministry to widen and
improve the intersection of controlled access Highway 401 at Liberty Street
and the Base Line Road in accordance with terms and conditions as set out
in the Memorandum of Agreement annexed hereto as Schedule "A ".
2. That the Mayor and Clerk be and are hereby authorized to sign the agreement:
on behalf of the Town and impress the corporate seal thereon.
