THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE
By -Law No. 72 -13
To amend Zoning By -Law No. 1587
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to amend Zoning By -Law No. 1587 as amended,
of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
pursuant to Section 35 of The Planning Act, hereby enacts that By -Law No. 1587
as amended be forther amended as follows:
1. Map 4 of Schedule "A" to Zoning By -Law No. 1587 as amended is hereby
further amended by changing the land use designation for a regular
shaped parcel of land located at the southwest corner of King Street
and St. George Street and having a frontage on the south side of King
Street of 66.4 feet and a flankage on the west side of St. George
Street of 165.0 feet, from R to C so that the said Map 4 shall be
amended as shown on the revised Map 4 attached to this By -Law as
Schedule "A ".
2. No part of this by -law shall come into force without the approval of
the Ontario Municipal Board but subject thereto this by -law shall
take effect from the date of its passing.
By -Law read a first, second and third time and finally passed on this 6th day
of March, 1972.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
EXPLANATION OF PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF
BY -LAW NO. 72 -13
This by -law is to implement an amendment made to the Official Plan of
the Bowmanville Planning Area as adopted by Council by by -law on
January 3rd, 1972, and subsequently submitted for approval to the
Minister of Municipal Affairs.
This by -law rezones the subject lands at the southwest corner of King
Street and St. George Street from R to C subject to the regulations
which apply to the C zone, in order to permit establishment of a
retail store.
