By -Law No. 71 -34
To authorize the construction of road construction
on certain streets in the Totim of Bow-manville
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TO101 OF BO1dIWgVILLE,
HEREBY ERACTS AS FOLLO-RS :
1. THAT a road reconstruction be carried out as referred to in
Schedule "A" attached to this by -law.
2. THAT the Engineer of the Corporation do forthwith make sugh
plans, profiles and specifications and furnish such information
as may be necessary for the making of a contract for the
execution or the work.
3. THAT the work shall be carried on and executed under the
superintendence and according to the directions and orders
of such Engineer.
4. THAT the IIayor and Clerk are authorized to cause a contract
for the construction of the work to be *.Wade and entered into
with some person or persons, firm or corporation, subject to
the approval of this Council to be declared by resolution.
5. THAT the Treasurer may (subject to the approval of the Council)
arrange for temporary advances of money to meet the cost of
the worn pending the completion of it.
6. THAT the debentures to be issued fo-r the loan to be effected
to pay for the cost of the cork after deducting subsidy from
Department of Highe-ays when completed shall bear interest at
a rate to be determined and payable within 10 years.
7. THAT an application be made to the Ontario Municipal Board for
approval of the said undertaking and the expenditures provided
for herein, and that an application be made to the Ontario
Municipal Boars to dispense with the assent of the electors in
connection with the said work.

Construction of curbs and g7atters. Construction of storm
sewers from Park Street to Pine Street and westerly on
Pine Street to Creek. Replacement of sidewalk on west side
of Duke Street $ 105,000.00
Silver Street from king Street West to Wellington Street.
Reconstruction of Roadway to width of 40 feet with asphalt
pavement. Construction of storm sewer between Church
Street and Wellington Street, Replacement of sidewalks on
both sides of Silver Street 95,000°00
$ 200,000.00
