BY -LAW NO. 71 -15
A BY -LAW TO AMEND BY -LAW NO. 1784 FOR THE
REGULATION OF TRAFFIC
WHEREAS THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE PASSED BY -SHAW
NO. 1784 ON THE 8TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1960, FOR REGULATING TRAFFIC ON THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS IN THE TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE AND; s
WHEREAS IT IS DESIRABLE TO FURTHER AMEND BY -LAW NO. 1784;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
BOWMANVILLE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT SCHEDULE "G" OF BY -LAW NO. 1784 BE AMENDED BY ADDING
THE FOLLOWING WORDS:

LAWRENCE CRESCENT EAST SIDE WAVERLY ROAD WEST LIMIT OF LAWRENCE AVENUE
STRIKE AVENUE EAST SIDE WAVERLY ROAD NORTH SIDE LITTLE AVENUE
LITTLE AVENUE WEST SIDE COLE AVENUE SOUTH SIDE STRIKE AVENUE
COLE AVENUE NORTH SIDE LAWRENCE CRES. NORTH LIMITS OF COLE AVENUE
2. THIS BY -LAW SHALL NOT BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL APPROVED BY
THE ONTARIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT NOR SHALL ANY PARTICULAR PROVISIONS
THEREOF BECOME EFFECTIVE UNTIL SIGN OR SIGNS (IF ANY) APPLICABLE TO SUCH
PARTICULAR PROVISIONS HAS OR HAVE BEEN ERECTED THEREON AND IS OR ARE ON
DISPLAY.

Dear Sir: RE: 1971 Supplementary Subsidy Allocation
with Supporting Statement of Proposed
Expenditure.
The Honourable Charles MacNaughton, Minister of Transportation
and Communications, has authorized a supplementary subsidy allocation in
the amount(s) of
$ 55,000. for Construction
$ _ for Maintenance
$ 55:000. Total
The total subsidy allocation for Construction and for Maintenance is
shown at the bottom of this letter. Please note that where expenditures produce
subsidy amounts in excess of either of the total limits shown below, the excess
amounts will not be eligible for consideration.
This approval is given subject to the approval of individual works of
construction and of contracts for construction or maintenance.
The approval of the Ontario Municipal Board shall be obtained before
any expenditure is authorized or work commenced which will be financed by the
issue of debentures or monies raised in years subsequent to the term of the pre-
sent Council.
One, copy of the submission as approved is returned herewith.

Maintenance Total
$ 219750. $116,750.
