BY-LAW NO. 67-27
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1983,
a by-law to provide for the prepayment
of taxes and the granting of a discount
thereon.
vi'HMEAS on the 19th day of September, 1966, Council
passed By-law No. 1983 providing for the prepayment of taxes
and the granting of a discount thereon;
AND _W'HEREAS it has been determined that the amount
of the discount is too high an expense to provide for working
capital;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Bowmanville hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOUS:
1. That Section 2 of By-law 1983, be amended as follows:
(a) In the second line, the figure "4" be deleted

and substitute therefor the figure "3".
(b) In the third line the figure "3" be deleted and
substitute therefor the figure "2".
2. That the provisions of this By-law shall take effect
on and from the lst day of January, 1968.
