BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE AN APPLICATION TO THE ONTARIO
MUNICIPAL BOARD TO PROVIDE FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PART OF
THE TOWNSHIP OF DARLINGTON TO THE TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE.
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF BOWMAN-VILLE
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:-
1. THAT application be made by this Corporation to the
Ontario Municipal Board to annex that -part of the Township of
Darlington in the County of Durham., more particularly set out in
Schedule "A" attached hereto_, to the Town of Bowmanville.
2. THAT the appropriate Officials of the Town take all
necessary actions to implement this by-law.
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be and the same are hereby
authorized to execute any documents in connection herewith and to
affix the Corporate Seal of this Municipality to any such documents
requiring the same.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAX NUMBER
ALL AND SINGULAR that portion of the Township of
Darlington, in the County of Durham, being more particularly
described as follows:
COMMENCING at the existing southwest limit of the
Town of Bowmanville where the westerly limit intersects the
water's edge of Lake Ontario;
THENCE northerly along the westerly limit of the
said Town and being also along the westerly limit of Lot 11,
Broken Front Concession, to where the said limit intersects
the southerly limit of Base Line Road;
THENCE westerly along the southerly limit of Base
Line Road and being the existing southerly limit of the Town
of Bowmanville to a point in the westerly limit of Martin
Road, which road is the road allowance between Lots 141 and
15, Broken Front Concession;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of the
said road allowance between Lots 14 and 15 crossing Highway
Number 401 and the Canadian National Railway right-of-way
to a point where the said westerly limit of the concession
road is intersected by the southerly limit of the Canadian
National Railway right-of-way;
THENCE southwesterly along the southerly limit of
the Canadian National Railway right-of-way crossing Lot 15
in the said Broken Front Concession to a point in the
westerly limit of the said Lot 15;
THENCE southerly along the said westerly limit a
distance of 27.44 -feet more or less to a point marking the
southeast corner of the northerly 100 acres of Lot 16 in the
said Concession;
THENCE westerly crossing the Canadian National
Railway right-of-way along the southerly limit of the north
100 acres of the said Lot 16 and continuing westerly along
the said southerly limit and its projection westerly across
Lot 16, across the road allowance between Lots 16 and 17,
and across Lot 17 to a point in the westerly limit of the
said Lot 17 where it is intersected by the southerly limit
of the north 100 acres of the said Lot 17;
THENCE southerly along the westerly limit of the
said Lot 17 to where the said westerly limit of Lot 17
intersects the water's edge of Lake Ontario;
THENCE easterly along the water's edge of Lake
Ontario to the place of commencement.
