By-Law No. 69-22
A by-law to appoint a Treasurer and Tax
Collector
WHEREAS, upon the vacancy created by the resignation of Robert L.
Byron, Clerk-Controller-Treasurer;
AND WHEREAS it is desirabletD segregate future responsibilities and
duties of the above post;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville
pursuant to the provisions of Sections 218 and 225 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1960, Chapter 249, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1) That Anthony Geboers be and is appointed as Treasurer for the Town of
Bowmanville
2) That the said Anthony Geboers be and is appointed Tax Collector for the
Town of Bowmanville
3) That the said Anthony Geboers shall be paid such sums annually for his
services as the Council,, from time for time, as Council shall determine;
4) That this by-law shall become effective on the final passing thereof.
READ a first, second and third time and finally passed this day of 7" 1969.
