BY-LAW No.-
A by-law to provide for Advance Polls
WHEREAS the Council of the C"orporation of the Town
of in
B07,v-anville is desirous of establishing advance -polls for
,
elections or by-elections for Council,Board of Education, Public
Utilities Commission, or other Board, Commission or Body, miembers
of which are required to be elected by the Electors of the Municil-
pality.
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The Municipal _,"!Lct, R.S.O. 1960,
Chapter 249, Section 90, The Corporation of the Toi,,n of Boy,,=nanville
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1.) There shall be provided for each election hereinafter set out
an advance poll for the purpose of receiving the votes of Voters
who exzect to be absent from the Municipality, or confined in a
hospital, or of election officials who in carrying out their duties
as election officials will be unable to attend the poll at which they
are entitled to vote, or of voters who for religious reasons are
Drevented from voting, on the day fixed for polling.
2.) The poll, when one is required, shall be held on the Saturday
preceeding the day fixed for the general poll and the poll shall
be open during the same times which the general poll remains open.
3.) The advance poll shall take place at the Town Hall.
4. This By-law applies to an election or by-election for Council,
Board of Education, School Board, Public Utility Comm-iisslon or
other Board, Commission or Body the rieffbers of -v,,hif ch are required
to be elected by the Electors of the municipality and to voting on
by-law and question submitted to the Electors under the atthority

of this or any other general or special Act.
15.) This by-law shall remain in force frorn year to year until repealed.
