By -Law No. 69 -29
A by -law to ,appoint a Clerk - Administrator
for the Town of Bowmanville.

WHEREAS Section 215 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1960,
Chapter 249, authorizes Councils of all municipalities to pass
by -laws appointing a Clerk.
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Bowmanville, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Joseph McIlroy be and he is hereby appointed Clerk-
Administrator for the Town of Bowmanville as of October
20th, 1969
2. That the said Joseph McIlroy shall be paid the sum of
$12,500.00 per annum as Clerk- Administrator of the said
Town.
3. The Clerk - Administrator shall perform the duties imposed
upon the Clerk of the Municipality by Section 215 of the
Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1960, Chapter 249.
4. The Clerk - Administrator shall perform such other duties
that may be required of him by Council consistent with
this by -law and discharge such other duties as the
Council may from time to time direct.
5. All By -Laws and parts of By -Laws, which after the
effective date of this by -law, are inconsistent with
this by -law, be and the same are hereby repealed.
READ a first, second and third time and finally passed this `-'` day
