A by -law to amend By- Law ,4o. 69 -32 which amended By -Law
No. 1663 which is a by -law to provide for the installation
of parking meters on certain streets in the Town of
Bowmanville and to provide regulations relative to the
parking of vehicles in the areas or zones where parking
meters are installed and requiring the drivers of motor
vehicles to make use of such meters.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville
is desirous of keeping certain streets clear of vehicles for the purpose
of street cleaning and snow removal;
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
pursuant to the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter 249, Section 476, Sub-
section 7, HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT By -Law No. 69 -32 be amended by deleting Section 1 and
substituting the following:
1) That By -Law No. 1663 be amended by adding an additional clause 2 (a) to
read as follows:
No person shall park a vehicle in a parking meter zone for a period
longer than four hours at any time when the parking meters are
inopperative,
2) This By -Law shall not become effective until approved by the Department
of Transport of the Province of Ontario.
