By -Law Noe 70 -38 -
A by -law to appoint a Treasurer and Tax
collector
WHEREAS upon the vacancy created by the resignatiofz of Anthony P. Geboers'
Treasurer and Tax Collector;
�} WHEREAS it is desirable to appoint future responsibilities and duties
of the above post;
NOW THEREFORE the Council Of 2118 225tofnthe Municipal Act R se011e, and
pursuant to the provisions of Sections
1960, Chapter 249, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1) That .Joseph F. .Descent be and is appointed as Treasurer for the Town of
Bokmanvil le
2) That the said Joseph F. Descent be and is appointed Tax Collector for tihe
Town of Bowmanville
3) That the said Joseph F. Descent shall be paid such sums annually far his
services as the Council, from time to time., shall determine
4) That any by -law which is not consistent -v th this by -law be and is. hereby

A by -law to appoint a Treasurer and Tax
Collector
WHEREAS upon the vacancy created by the resignation of Anthony P. Geboers,
Treasurer and Tax Collector;
AND WHEREAS it is desirable to appoint future responsibilities and duties
of the above post;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville,
ptir'Staht to the provisions of Sections 218 and 225 of the Municipal A_et, R.S.O.
1960, Chapter 249, hereby ELFACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1) That Joseph F. Descent be and is appointed as Treasurer for the Town of
Bowmanville
2) That the said Joseph F. Descent.be and is appoi.tzted Tax Collector for the
Town of Bowmanville
