THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE
BY -LAW N0. 1286
A By -law to amend Zoning By -law No. 1587.
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Bowmanville passed
a Zoning By -law No. 1587 on the 2nd day of August, 1955 which was
duly approved by Order of The Ontario Municipal Board;
AND WHEREAS By -law No. 1587 has been amended by By -laws
numbered 1612, 1700, 1825, 18359 18889 1916, 1933, 1936 and 1974
passed on the 3rd day of July, 1956, on the 10th day of September,
1959, on the 2nd day of October, 1961, on the 30th day of January,
1962, on the 7th day of October, 1963, on the 6th day of July, 1964,
on the 5th day of April, 1965, on the 3rd day of May, 1965 and on
the 31st day of May, 1966 respectively, all of which save By -law
No. 1933, have been duly approved by the Ontario Municipal Board;
AND WHEREAS it is desirable to further amend the said
Zoning By -law No. 1587;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Bowmanville pursuant to The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1960, Chapter
296, Section 30, and amendments thereto, HEREBY ENACTS that By -law
No. 1587 as amended be further amended as follows:
1. In the schedule of zones under the heading -
IN TOGTNSHIP LOT 14
IN CONCESSION 1
To add to the section as amended by By -law No. 1700, paragraph 22,
later struck out and substituted therefore by paragraph 6 of By-
law No. 1835, and further amended by By -law No. 1974, a third ex-
ception clause to:
"All southerly of No. 2 Highway in ....................... Zone 1
EXCEPT a parcel in the southeasterly part of Township Lot 14 and
more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at a point being the south east corner of Township Lot
14 and being also the north west corner made by the intersection
of Waverly Road and Base Line Road;
THENCE westerly in a straight line parallel with the northern limit
of the Base Line Road a distance of 320 feet more or less to a
point distant 1000 feet easterly from the eastern limit of Martin
Road;

THENCE northerly in a straight line along the eastern limit of
land in Zone 111 and arallel with the limit of"t�"
Road a distance of 660 feet more or lesssa point;
THENCE easterly in a straight line parallel with the northern limit
of the Base Line Road a distance of 320 feet more or less to a
point in the westerly limit of Waverly Road;
THENCE southerly along the said westerly limit of Waverly Road a
distance of 660 feet more or less to the point of commencement .....

2. In the schedule of zones under the heading -
IN TOWNSHIP LOT 11
IN BROKEN FRONT CONCESSION
To add to the section an exception clause to:
"All of said Lot in said Concession lying northerly of said last -
mentioned line to northern limit of said Concession, in ... Zone 111
EXCEPT a parcel in the north east corner of the said Lot and des-
cribed as follows:
COMMENCING at a point being the north east corner of Township Lot
11 and being also the south west corner made by the intersection of
Base Line Road and Liberty Street;
THENCE southerly along the western limit of Liberty Street to a
point where the said western limit of Liberty Street is intersected
by the northern limit of the MacDonald Cartier Freeway;
THENCE westerly along the xeashern limit of the MacDonald Cartier
Freeway to a point where the eastern limit of Duke Street is inter-
sected by the said northerly limit of the said Freeway;
THENCE northerly along the eastern limit of Duke Street to a point
being the south west corner made by the intersection of Duke Street
and Base Line Road;
THENCE easterly along the southern limit of Base Line Road to the
point of commencement , in . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . Zone 11"
3. In the schedule of zones under the heading -
IN TOWNSHIP LOT 9
IN CONCESSION 1
The whole thereof as amended by By -Law No. 1825, paragraph 1, is
struck out and the following substituted therefore:
'The first three lines shall be striken out and replaced by the
following:
From the southern limit of said Lot and extending northerly to the
southern limit of the conservation zone of the creek running there

UPON THE APPLICATION of the Corporation of the Town
of Bowmanville, upon consideration of the material filed,
and it appearing that notice of application has been
given as directed by the Board and that no objections to
approval have been received by the clerk of the applicant
corporation within the time prescribed, as appears by
affidavit, filed;
THE BOARD ORDERS, under and in pursuance of the
legislation hereinbefore referred to, and of any and all
other powers vested in the Board, that By -law 1996 passed
the 19th day of September, 1966, be and the same is
hereby approved.
